What is the type of payment at the box office?

The tickets can be paid with cash (kuna only) or credit cards (all types of credit cards: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Diners, etc.).

Is it possible to buy a ticket in advance?

Yes, it is possible to buy a ticket in advance through the Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Antiquities’ official webshop.

How does buying tickets online work?

You must choose the location and the date when You are planning a visit. By completing all the steps, you will receive an invoice and a ticket to your e-mail address. A ticket purchased through the official webshop of the Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Antiquities must be saved on a mobile device or printed out and confirmed/activated at the entrance to the location selected at the time of purchase.

Do I have to use a token to confirm a transaction in a webshop?

Payments in the official webshop of the Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Antiquities are possible only with credit and debit cards. If you do not have a token device, you can perform the transaction through the application you usually use for the online payment. In the step when the system asks you for authorization, you need to enter the authorization number that is displayed on your application. You can get the authorization number via a token device or mobile application, depending on your bank.

Are the heritage sites open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays?

Dubrovnik City Walls, Ston City Walls, and Fort Sokol in Konavle are open every day during the year except on Christmas Day (December 25).

What are the working hours of the heritage sites in the winter period?

The winter period covers the period from 01.11. to 31.3 .. and the working hours for individual sites can be found on our website.

When is the last call for entering the heritage site?

The end of working hours means the last entry to a particular locality, which means that if the working hours are until 18.00, the last entry is until 18.00.

Is it possible to visit the Lovjenac Fortress with a ticket purchased for the Dubrovnik city walls and vice versa?

With a ticket purchased to visit Dubrovnik City Walls, it is possible to visit the Lovrjenac fortress. With a ticket purchased at the Lovrjenac Fortress if you would want to visit Dubrovnik City Walls, you will have to pay extra at the entrance.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed but they must be on a leash.

How can I get a student discount?

To be able to buy a student ticket, you must present a valid student card at the time of payment. The following student cards are accepted: Croatian Student Card (X-ica), International Student Card (ISIC), European Youth Card.

Do you have any discounts, special entrance, or assistance for the disabled and the elderly / when entering or leaving a particular heritage site?

At the entrances to each heritage site, we approve a special discount for the disabled upon presentation of a valid disability card. Unfortunately, due to their specificity, our heritage sites are difficult to access for people with disabilities.

Do veterans and children pay for the entrance?

Veterans with a valid veteran’s card have a discount on a regular ticket. Children under 7 do not pay for the ticket. Children from 7 to 18 pay the children ticket.

Is it allowed to take photos/recordings with a regular camera and/or mobile device?

Photographs/recordings are allowed if they are intended for private purposes, but if the photographing is for commercial purposes, it is necessary to request special approval from the Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Antiquities.

Do we visit the heritage by ourselves or we are accompanied by an official guide?

You do not need to have a guide to tour any of the heritage sites. If you want to have a guided tour, please contact the Dubrovnik Tourist Guides Association.
